Agreement

By downloading or using WTM?, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of WTM?, including the free version and WTM? Pro.

What WTM? does

WTM? is an iMessage extension that helps friend groups make plans. It lets you propose hangouts, vote on times, RSVP to moves, and get AI-powered venue suggestions. WTM? works inside the Messages app on iPhone and requires iOS 16 or later.

Your account

WTM? does not require a traditional account. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit service. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use WTM?.

WTM? Pro subscription

WTM? Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks AI-powered venue suggestions. Here are the details:

• Product name: WTM? Pro Monthly
• Price: $1.99 per month
• Billing: charged monthly to your Apple ID account
• Renewal: automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions
• Free trial: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase the subscription

All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information. For billing questions, contact Apple Support.

Acceptable use

You agree to use WTM? only for its intended purpose of planning hangouts with people you know. You may not use WTM? to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Post content that is illegal, obscene, or abusive
• Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the app
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written permission

Content you create

You own the content you create in WTM?, including move names, locations, and other details. By using WTM?, you give us permission to store and display that content to the other members of your group as part of the normal function of the app.

Intellectual property

WTM?, its name, logo, and all content within the app are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of WTM? without our written permission.

Third-party services

WTM? uses the following third-party services to function:

• Apple CloudKit for data storage
• Apple MapKit for location search
• OpenAI API for AI venue suggestions (WTM? Pro only)

These services have their own terms and privacy policies which govern how they handle data. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Disclaimers

WTM? is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that AI venue suggestions will be accurate. Venue information comes from AI and may not reflect current hours, availability, or status. Always verify before you show up.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of WTM?. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of WTM? after changes means you accept the updated terms.
